WiB rocks NYC in the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade - October 31, 2007

Don't take our word for it...
here's a word from one of our new fans...
"Something new, something fun, something different. Riding the back of a flatbed truck at the tail end of the parade was a musical sensation from Brooklyn that I'd never heard of or seen before but I sure was blown away by them...Witches in Bikinis... I honestly was taken aback by their sound (early 60s girl groups/Spector influence), their talent (they really could sing!) and by their professionalism, which was in full force as some very cold winds made the parade a chilly event, though they never once stopped dancing to bundle up. Their songs are fun to listen to, they all have horror themes to them (how can I not love a band that has a song called "Horror Flick Chicks"?)

WiBs on the Joey Reynolds Show - May 14, 2006

WiBs were on The Joey Reynolds Show, WOR radio, on Sat. May 13th at
2:30 AM.
The story:
After the 11:15 show at Don't Tell Mama, we headed downtown for an interview with Joey Reynolds on WOR radio. We went on around 2:30 a.m. If anyone reading this actually heard us, please let us know. The Joey Reynolds show is broadcast Tues-Sat, midnight to 5 AM, from Hawaii to Nova Scotia and has about 8 million listeners, so hopefully someone out there tuned in. It was a lot of fun. Jupi, Joya, Ella, Luna, Amir, Julie (Rozar) and Bill chatted on the air for about half an hour and we performed Witches In Bikinis live(!) on the radio. Luna did a great job singing lead and Jupi, Joya & Ella were bewitching on their backups. In fact Joey liked the backup vocals so much he invited them to follow him around all day singing "Hm-hm-hmm-hmm-hmmmm". The girls were in full bikini regalia which prompted a bunch of the guys working at the station to grab their cameras and be photographed with the WiBs.
